Veterinarians in the Wild Program

In 2026, Dazzle Africa hosted our first Vets in the Wild safari,  bringing together a group of veterinarians and their families led by Dr. Justine Lee and Dr. Kate An Hunter. We knew it would be something special, but we were immediately inspired by the enthusiasm, curiosity, and compassion of this special group.

This safari inspired the launch of a Vets in the Wild program offering annual continuing education safaris and inviting these veterinarians and their family members to provide critical support for Dazzle Africa's veterinary initiatives in Zambia, including wildlife rescue and treatment, community veterinary outreach, disease surveillance, veterinary equipment and supplies, and training opportunities for the next generation of Zambian wildlife veterinarians with a gift of $2,500 or more.

Future veterinarians who join Vets in the Wild safaris will have the opportunity to become members of the Vets in the Wild Circle, a growing community dedicated to learning, conservation, and lasting connections.
