Community-Focused Conservation

Engaging Local Communites in Conservation

Dazzle Africa supports a radio program, the Conservation Hour radio show, that is a joint project of conservation partners ZCP, CSL, and Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust (a local environmental education organization based in the South Luangwa area). The radio show is a weekly program conducted by award-winning conservationists. The radio show covers relevant conservation topics ranging from human-wildlife conflict to poaching to wildlife-based economies. It aims to raise awareness of the pressing threats facing Zambia’s wildlife, inspire people to take action, and support community members in safely preventing human-wildlife conflict.

The show reaches over 50,000 listeners, providing invaluable information and access to expert advise that promotes wildlife coexistence.
